Soldotna Rotarians come together to be of service to their communities. In the history of the Club, it has never been so difficult to act upon our desire to work with others to better our community. Although 2020 has provided some major hurdles, this Thanksgiving was reminiscent of the past events with laughter, fellowship, and service.

Although we couldn't see each other's smiling faces through the masks, we still rolled up our sleeves and got to work to provide food to approximately 150 people serviced by the Salvation Army. We mashed potatoes, stirred the gravy, and packaged the pie. Together, we were able to get the food ready for patrons in as little as an hour an a half. We had eight bakers that cooked the turkeys, and we hope that the folks that ate the food felt the care cooked into it all.
